TKG is a firm that represents the best of best – the best in healthcare companies meeting the candidates that can take their business to new heights. While all of the connections that we facilitate are important and impacful, I take special pride in our projects that involve placing women in positions that further their careers and advance womankind as a whole.
It is for this reason that I knew that joining NAWBO, the National Association of Women Business Owners, was a must for me. Founded in 1975, NAWBO is the unified voice of over 10 million women-owned businesses in the United States, representing the fastest growing segment of the economy. After a rigorous application process, I now know that, as a business owner, I can turn to the its membership, staff and trusted experts for legal, human resources and policy issues.
Even more so, I appreciate the opportunity to network with other entrepreneurial women. And even more than that, I value the mentorship opportunities that may arise. One of my greatest joys is sharing what I’ve learned with other women (just ask my daughter and all of her friends!). After reading this NAWBO blog post, I knew that we share the same sentiments when it comes to ‘paying it forward’.
I’m really looking forward to participating in future events and seminars in my area. And, believe me, you’ll hear all about it when I do!
