A new social impact initiative: Women in Diagostics

I know I’m not the only one that has found a few unexpected ‘silver linings’ lately.  I’m considering this one of them…

Over the last few years, I have been working on an exciting idea that started as a passion project and, with the recent gift of a bit of time, is now becoming a reality.

As a leading diversity recruiter in clinical diagnostics for 28 years, a mentor to women in our industry, and incoming president for NAWBO Sacramento, I intimately understand the skillset and value that women bring to any organization. It is with this understanding that I am launching a social impact initiative, the first online community for women in the diagnostics industry.

Women in Diagnostics is a group via LinkedIn that will further our collective mission to bring more women to the boardroom, C-suite and executive offices through:

    • education – training on interview techniques, resume writing, and overall career development
    • support – Town Hall-style virtual meetings featuring female experts in our industry
    • networking – connect and network with other female executives for career opportunities

If you are a woman in the diagnostics industry, please join Women in Diagnostics as an inaugural member. It is with dynamic members like you that I can establish this brand, build a robust membership, and soon launch a vibrant online presence.
